About 6 months ago, the 4 year old son of a close family friend was run over outside his house in London. He suffered severe head injuries and spent a long period of time in intensive care at Great Ormond Street.  Despite the odds, he survived the ordeal and is now back home in East London with his family.  However, as a result of his injuries, he is now having communication difficulties with children his age and relies on charities such as ICAN to help his rehabilitation.
