An important part of my role as the President of the Insurance Institute of Preston and Blackpool is to ensure we continue our charity fund-raising efforts.

I am raising money for the Insurance Charities http://www.theinsurancecharities.org.uk/ by abseiling down the 128 ft of Peel Tower near Ramsbottom, on Saturday 31st October 2009.

The Insurance Charities gives vital financial and practical support to past and present employees of the insurance industry, and their dependent relatives, who are suffering financial hardship.

Your support, however great or small, will make a real difference to some needy people.
