Story

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you may or may not know I was diagnosed with a brain tumour in October 2010. A grade 3 Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma, for those who are curious and would like to research.

The tumour was removed on 17th November 2010. Since then I have been under the care of the very generous and caring medical staff at The Royal Marsden hospital in Sutton

Although the tumour was removed I have been informed that there is a strong possibility that I will need further treatment in future.

However, fear not as I am not as ill as you may think. Therefore, as a personal thank you to those who have helped me and my loved ones over the past year or so I have decided to take part in the Royal Marsden March on Sunday 11th March 2012 in order to raise cancer awareness, but more importantly, money which will go towards helping those fighting such a horrible disease.
