Dementia Australia is a unified, national charity for people living with all forms of dementia, their families and carers. We represent the 487,500 Australians living with dementia and the estimated 1.6 million Australians involved in their care. We are the new voice of Alzheimer’s Australia.

Story

I'm riding the inaugural Bondi to Berry cycle to raise money for Alzheimer's Australia NSW. The event aims to raise $35,000 towards dementia research, and is organised by cyclists who have been affected by dementia in their families.

With my Father-in-law Brian currently suffering with dementia, and me being a keen cyclist, this is an ideal opportunity to do something positive for those suffering with this disease.

There are only 40 cyclists taking part in the event's first year (including Tony Abbott)...hope to see this event grow each year to raise money for this cause.
