<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma;">A friend and work colleague’s daughter Francesca aged 16, has been diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma, which is a cancer of the <a title="The lymphatic system" href="wlmailhtml:%7B9B943EDB-E54F-4A78-9F81-8BBA9F380F28%7Dmid:/00000018/%21x-usc:http:/www.macmillan.org.uk/Cancerinformation/Cancertypes/LymphomaHodgkin/AboutHodgkinlymphoma/Thelymphaticsystem.aspx"><span style="color: windowtext; text-decoration: none;">lymphatic system</span></a>, also known Hodgkin’s disease. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma;" lang="EN-GB">Francesca has started her treatment of Chemotherapy and it will last about 6 months. As we all know the side effect of Chemotherapy is hair loss and the most visible place is to the scalp. Francesca’s hair has started to fall out and it is likely that within the next week she will have lost all of her hair.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma;" lang="EN-GB">Francesca’s father has arranged a Shave-A-Thon and about 30 of us have offered to shave our golden locks off to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust also giving Francesca some love and support at the same time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Tahoma;" lang="EN-GB">I am going to go for a full Kojak style on the 21st May 2011, (now completed, see pic).</span></p>
