My story
SSRG have signed up a team to take part in this year's Goodwood Roller Marathon, the UK's largest roller race, taking place on the 8th August 2010. We will be completing the full marathon (26.62 miles), which is 11 laps round the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit.
We are be raising money for Sheffield Children's Hospital so will be asking family, friends and fans for sponsorship over the months leading up to the event.
Team SSRG are already in training, using every flat area of tarmac we can find! Last year, London Rockin' Rollers managed to complete the marathon in 2 hours 24 minutes, but we plan to wipe the floor with them this year! Although, some of us will just be happy to cross the finish line!
