Our daughter Eva has the rare condition Congenital Melanocytic Naevus. Research has been ongoing for a number of years and last year, the gene which causes CMN was discovered which was wonderful news and work towards finding a treatment could begin.

The research has now reached an exciting phase as Dr Kinsler is close to finding treatments and it is only finance which holds up her progress in this painstaking work. Therefore, we are all highly motivated to raise more funds in 2014-2015 financial year. Unlike Eva, some with CMN suffer from neurological complications and the devastating, fatal, malignant melinoma so we are really working hard to give them all a chance to benefit from these latest developments sooner rather than later.
