<p><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">I have been training hard for the past 6 months, now the time is almost here for my adventure marathon....yes adventure marathon!!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">I will be taking part in the Gaelforce event on 4th June 2011 in Ireland. The marathon consists of approx 67km, which is made up of running, cycling, kayaking and fell running!</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">So why have I taken on such a challenge? Well if any of you have met the amazing McQuade family..you will have met my inspiration! Miss Caitlin McQuade is a star like no other and her mum and dad are very special people. Caitlin was born with a very serious heart condition, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. She has had 5 open heart surgeries and 5 heart catheters inserted over the course of her 9 and a half years. She battles on daily, without complaint and is now fast approaching her 10th birthday.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Little Hearts Matter is a charity that supports families like the McQuades, when they are struggling with the enormity of their child’s diagnosis. They continue to support these families over the years offering support and information.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">Please help me raise some much needed funds for a really worthy cause.</span></p>
