In April 2012, I will be part of a team of 26 trekkers and a small climbing team who will fly to Kathmandu in Nepal to trek to Everest base camp. The grueling trek over 120 miles will take us to heights of 18,500 feet, through some of the most stunning scenery in the world.
I am 34 year’s of age and joined St. James’s Place Belfast in 2006 having previously played rugby professionally.
I am passionate about sport, though unfortunately as age and a mind that is still willing but a body that isn’t it is more spectator orientated now! That is why I have jumped at the chance to be involved in this massive challenge and to raise money for our charitable Foundation. I have no doubt the whole experience will be one never to forget!!
