Surrey Badger Half Marathon · 14 July 2013

Surrey Wildlife Trust is a local charity dedicated to the restoration of wildlife and wild places in Surrey. We care for nature on over 60 reserves and work with others to protect and restore our county's nature, as well as educating people of all ages about wildlife.

Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. Jack and I are running a half-marathon on 14th July called the Surrey Badger Half Marathon.

The Badger is "a scenic, friendly multi-terrain undulating half marathon", starting and finishing in Denbies Vineyard, Dorking. Health & Safety: 'There is no doubt that this course is challenging. You need to be fit and well to start this race.'

I have always been a fan of Wildlife Trusts which help protect one of my favourite things - the countryside and local wildlife!

I've been living in Surrey for the last year and a bit, and running on and off (max 10k), so this is a real challenge! It is 13.1 miles in total which is a good 21k, so double our previous achievement. Any sponsorship is very much appreciated!
