Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Update 16/09 - I have writen about my experience on my blog from the weekend: http://sburgess88.wordpress.com/
It was my hardest challenge yet. Sadly I did not complete the 100K, and only did 50K due to an injury. I feel dissapointed but had to make the decision for my own health and safety. I hope you all understand and I thank everyone who has helped make such a difference and helped save lives.
June 2013: So I'll cut to the chase, I'm taking up another mad challenge for a great cause. This time though the charity means a lot to me and I'm doing this to help spread the word of the charity and raise money for them to help push forward their work.
Growing up is hard enough without tackling bad thoughts in your head. Well that's what I thought, councelling didn't help, you don't want to confide in your friends, you're fighting against yourself and your own thoughts on a daily basis... Luckily I was strong enough to pull myself through this, scars to prove it. However, my best friend, at 18 was not. The demons in his head overtook him and he was sadly taken from this world.
PAPYRUS is an amazing charity that not only support teenagers going through this, but support family and friends through it and sometimes unfortunately when their loved ones have been taken. I would like to raise more awareness of this amazing charity!
