St Nicholas Hospice Care is a local charity based in West Suffolk and Thetford, serving our community since 1984. As a charity, we believe everyone matters in life and death, and we strive for something better for those facing dying, death and grief.

Story

Yes, I cycled the full *five* miles on July 5th 2015, in Suffolk. (In the rain ...) I'd really appreciate any support you feel able to give, to help fund the work of St Nicholas Hospice, an organisation based in Bury St Edmunds, where I used to live, which works compassionately in the fields of life-threatening illness, death and bereavement.

I considered doing the fifty mile ride, but, on balance, felt I should work to my strengths ... encouraging others through my mantra of, "If I can do it, anyone can". This wouldn't apply if I had tackled the longer route. To be fair, the route I did was actually a bit more than 5 miles, plus I had to get the start point as well .... (I'm not a young person anymore, you know)

Donating through JustGiving is simple and secure.  Once you donate, the money goes directly to the charity. So, no siphoning off any spare wodges of dosh to my own account. As if.
