So it&rsquo;s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.</p> <p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><em>As some of you may know, I started working at our church to fill in for our church secretary who is out on maternity leave. I work there 3 days a week, trying to keep things running smoothly. What you may not know is that there is a soup kitchen run out of the church 5 days a week. I have had the privilege to watch the soup kitchen director and manager work with the homeless and food poor in central London. They both have shown the kind of grace and compassion to the least of us....that Jesus must have shown when He walked the earth. When I started running last September, with my eye toward preparing for and finishing a half marathon, I had no intention of running for a cause. But God has a way of workiing on our hearts. Being part of a urban church and living in the city has giving me the opportunity to see those in need and to try to make a difference in their lives. I want my faith to reflect that. As James would say....What Good is it? Faith that does not make a difference in others lives here on earth, is dead......help my steps make a difference.</em></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><em><span style="color: #ff00ff;">The half marathon is on March 25th.
