Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge · 27 September 2014

Headway Swindon provides support to people with brain injury, their families and carers. Through cognitive and social rehabilitation they encourage and Support people with brain injury to attain the highest possible quality of life and assist them to independent living.

Story

I am participating in the Novum Law Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes in the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

I am raising money for Headway Swindon and District who do an incredible job of promoting understanding of all aspects of brain injury, focusing not just on the impact on the individual but also on their families and others who care for them. They provide information, support and services for families too, including assistance to source and access other much needed services.
