On 23rd May I will be running the Edinburgh Marathon and have decided to raise funds for Ataxia UK, an organisation which funds research into the disease  and offers support to sufferers and their families.  Ataxia is a neurological disorder that affects balance, coordination and speech, for which there is currently no cure.  Over 10,000 people in the UK have a form of ataxia, including a relative of mine who has received much support from Ataxia UK.
