Hello everybody, Roger and I are taking part in a Moldova Cycle Challenge this May to raise much needed funds for Link Romania.  This is going to be a real challenge not only cycling 214 miles in 6 days but also in raising £1,500.00 vital funds each for the life changing work of Link Romania and support its partners in Eastern Europe by offering education and social care to help lift these neglected people out of their misery.  We are paying the cost of the trip ourselves so every penny raised in sponsorship will go directly to the work of Link Romania so please dig deep and support us!  Link Romania is a Christian charity helping to rebuild lives and communities through education and social care programmes across Eastern Europe.  Every penny you donate to me for this cycle will go directly to support the project work Link Romania do with the poor and marginalised in Romania, Moldova, Albania, Bulgaria and Ukraine.  Some of the projects are:- ·         A Future Changed, Iasi, Romania – Little Rainbows Kindergarten and Dallas Shanty Town social work programme. ·         Farm of Hope, Iasi, Romania - Takes in orphaned boys without families and social skills and trains them in arable and animal farming.  The project feeds, clothes, teaches, trains and loves them back to life again. ·         Inn of Love, Dancu, Moldova - Provides free meals three times a week to the poorest elderly and disabled people in the community. ·         Emmaus Club, Dancu & Ciora, Moldova - Extra-curricular lessons for 30 children with Special Educational Needs and those who have struggled to adapt to school life. ·         Youth & Community Centre, Dancu & Ciora, Moldova – A ‘Community Space’ where people can come together, help each other and enjoy a range of activities with a particular focus on increasing life opportunities amount young people in the area. ·         Soup Kitchen, Cosnita, Moldova - Supplying a crucial lifeline to almost 100 people, including whole families and the elderly, every day, 365 days of the year. ·         House of Opportunity, Ruse, Bulgaria - Working with young people who have left the orphanages in Bulgaria and involves them in a two year training programme, which includes a work placement to give them the best possible chance to go on and lead a normal life.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
