7/9/09  Despite the rain and dodgy knees we crossed the finish line and got our medals!! To those who have already given - A HUGE THANK YOU - to everyone else, you can still donate. Even a pound or two will help so much.

When we decided to run the Half this year we had obviously forgotten the tears, swearing and joy of three years ago! Bit like childbirth!

We have resisted long lies, drunken nights, short cuts and offers of lifts to run the 13.1 miles. And beginning our runs in a pub car park was just cruel and mad!

On the plus side we've moaned, laughed and set the world to rights along the way and the main thing that's kept us going is knowing what a great organisation we're raising money for. They do a fantastic job and the least we can do is this run - oh and badger everyone we know to give us their cash.
