Story
Hello everyone, please take a few seconds to read on.
On Christmas Day last year the Father of one of my very close friends died of cancer. At the end of his life he spent time in one of the 10 Marie Curie hospices and they made sure that he was comfortable and relaxed and around friendly, caring people in the last stages of his life. Louise tells me they did a great job therefore I would like to do this run to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care to help ensure that they can continue to be there for other people in the future.
Cancer is the UK's biggest killer. Every year it claims the lives of more than 150,000 people. Each year Marie Curie Cancer Care provides care to around 30,000 cancer patients and their families - this care is entirely free of charge therefore they need our support!
Please spur me on to do this run by sponsoring me.
