Acorns Children's Hospice is a local charity in Birmingham and offers a network of specialist care and support to children and young people who have life limiting or life threatening illnesses, and their families. Acorns is currently supporting over 630 children and more than 880 families, including those who are bereaved.

There is no charge to families for Acorns services but running costs stand at £7500 per day per hospice – that’s £750 per day for each child’s care. The money raised from sponsorship will go towards helping Acorns to continue to provide vital care services. 

Well, I am proud to say I have completed my abseil and enjoyed it more than I ever imagined I would. It was awesome.
