My wonderful, inspiring and very dear friend Shiona has been living with melanoma for almost 2 years now. Its been a roller coaster ride all the way, however the support and treatment provided by The Royal Marsden has been world class, enabling her to remain unwaveringly positive and upbeat throughout her treatment.
My lovely local friends wanted to do something to support Shiona in her journey and to contribute towards her fundraising. Hence we've entered a few local races and my eldest daughter Felicity(15) is also joining us and is hoping to beat her mums 10k PB.
All money raised will be going directly to support on-going melanoma research and treatments led by the world renowned Dr James Larkin at the Royal Marsden. Since her Stage 4 diagnosis at the end of March 2017 and with the help of her family and friends, Shiona has raised over £23k to date, which is absolutely amazing. But in true Shiona style, she's not stopping there!

All donations are hugely appreciated and will spur the Thame Girls Shomelanoma team on.
