As a result of long-term health conditions, more than 1 in 10 children in the UK can be denied a carefree childhood, and this number is growing. Our programmes empower children and families to explore new possibilities and rediscover the fun and magic of childhood.

I'm going to donate my hair to charity if I can raise £100 for "Over the Wall" more below...

This summer, I have applied to work as a volunteer for an organisation called "Over The Wall" who provide residential spring and summer camps for children between the ages of 7-18 suffering from long-term and serious illnesses. These camps give children the opportunity to have fun and feel normal in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. Alongside my contribution of myself as a volunteer, I have decided to raise some money for this worthwhile cause by getting rid of my hair. Some have likened my hair to that of a mermaid, and more than once the adjectives "Magnificent" and "Otherworldly" have been used to describe my mane. While I have grown quite attached to it, I posses the ability to grow more in the future. Therefore, if I can manage to raise the sum of £100 for OTW I will get my hair cut short and donate it to The Little Princess Trust - an organisation which provides hair pieces for children suffering from hair loss.

So please, donate to my fundraiser to improve the lives of ill children, or at least so you can laugh manically when you see how silly I look with short hair!
