<p><span style="color: black; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 11.5pt;">A very brave and beautiful friend sadly passed away in January - she was 25. Dianne was one of the best, she was always so thoughtful and full of life - her stories always made me smile.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: black; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 11.5pt;">Her passing came as a shock as she fought her illness privately, I could never have imagined that someone who looked so healthy and vibrant could be suffering on the inside. It is also a very real reminder that cancer takes no prisoners.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: black; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 11.5pt;">Together with a bunch of uni pals I will be taking part(*) in the Baker Hughes 10K. We will be plodding(*) along the course in Dianne's honour to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: black; font-family: &quot;Arial&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 11.5pt;">(*) - Until recently I have never even contemplated taking on such a challenge. I don't run - I don't think I have even ever ran for a bus in my life! But I am determined to do this for Dianne and complete the 10K by running, walking, toddling and maybe even crawling if it gets that bad! In the next few months I will be avoiding back door steps and Portuguese pavements and following my running programme.</span></p>
