Story

On September 13th 2009, The Shredall Harriers with be entering a team to take part in the Robin Hood Half Marathon. While we are not natural atheletes, this challenge has focused our minds and we are all out training hard. Look out for us on a country lane near you over the summer!

Whether walking or running we plan to put in 100% effort to raise funds for The Fletcher Ward at City Hospital to provide facilities and amenities to benefit patients being treated for haematological disorders including leukaemia, lymphoma, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and myeloma.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor The Shredall Harriers.  Nottingham University Hospitals Charity (The Fletcher Ward) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

If you feel you can dig deep to support us we would be immensely grateful and we know that all monies raised are greatly needed. If you want to see how The Shredall Harriers perform on the day please visit our website  after 13th September but in the meantime wish us luck, hope our blisters are few and that the already tired and aching muscles do not get the better of us!

A big thank you in anticipation of your help with our campaign and happy running to all those taking part in the Half Marathon this year.
