Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I am a second year Architecture and Environmental Design student at the University of Nottingham. A group of students and staff from the department are teaming up and together we are raising money to hand build a nursery school in a rural village in Limpopo, South Africa. This area is on the poorest, least developed parts of the country, with high levels of unemployment.

Your kind donation will go towards providing a bright, clean and safe environment for teaching basic foundation skills, playing and music to the village children from under 1 - 7 years old. Not only this, but you will be helping to provide employment for local women who cook the meals, wipe noses and sing and play with the kids.

The money raised will directly go towards materials, tools, subcontracted works and project logistics associated with daily transport to the site. Us students pay for our own flights and accommodation.

Thank you for taking time to read my story, I am extremely grateful for your support with this life-changing project for the kids of South Africa!

Any donation however small will be greatly appreciated :)
