Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be running the Coventry Half Marathon on the 18/03/2018 in aid of the Rohingya Crisis. The situation for the Rohingyas is atrocious and over 165,000 have been displaced and are suffering torture and violence, this includes the Families, Children and the Elderly. They have had to flee from the constant violence, villages have been burnt down to the ground. The Refugees now need support where they are staying and this includes food and urgent medical attention.
I have never ran any sort of distance before so this will be a personal challenge but more importantly to raise much needed funds for those Rohingyas who are in constant distress. my aim is £100 InShaAllah but i hope i raise much more!
Rohingya Crisis

appeal.Over 600,000 Rohingya refugees have fled across the border from Myanmar to Bangladesh, leaving their burning homes behind. Considered the ‘world’s most persecuted minority’, many Rohingya now live in the makeshift refugee camps of Bangladesh; they desperately need your help.
Penny Appeal is on the ground in Bangladesh delivering food, medical Aid, shelter and water solutions to thousands of Rohingya Muslims, but the need is great - and more assistance is urgently required.
Our food packs contain nutritional items like pasta, rice, sugar and chickpeas and can support families for an entire month.
£100 FAMILY ESSENTIALS KIT Simple things such as hygiene and sanitation items, clothes and blankets can make a big difference to the health of refugees.
£200 MEDICAL SUPPLY Provide access to medication to a family.
£350 SHELTER Give a family warmth, security and protection by providing them with shelter.
3,000 SHELTER Each shelter can house eight families, providing warmth, security and protection.
