Right..this is a first for me. I have always admired people doing things outside of their comfort zone to raise money for others, and now it’s my turn!

Firstly myself, Steve and Will will be doing a Midnight walk up Pen y Fan this coming Saturday. Not your normal Saturday night out!! 

The next challenge is the hard one for me. I’m not a runner but Sue inspired me and I was always in awe of the runs she did. My biggest regret is not doing one with her. Well, this will be with her by my side every step of the way. I’m really hoping to run as much as possible. The Cardiff Half is extremely daunting for me but knowing I’m doing it for her will help get me through.

Sue’s time in Velindre was obviously distressing for her family, and having never been there before i wasn’t sure what to expect when I went to visit. The level of care and support they give is overwhelming. Such an amazing workforce. Not having Sue in our lives is the hardest thing to accept, and seeing the family suffer is heartbreaking. The money raised will help the staff of Velindre continue to support families going through what Sue and her loving family have been through.
