Next summer, August 2012, I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and would really appreciate it if you would sponsor me. I am raising money for Meningitis Research Foundation.

The Meningitis Research Foundation funds research into meningitis and septicaemia. Both these diseases can be fatal and can affect anyone, anywhere,there are around 3000 cases reported in the UK each year! Research into vaccinations is vital in order to stop this. It will take 6 days to reach the summit, walking up to 15 hours per day. Mount Kilimanjaro is the largest free-standing mountain in the world and is notoriously hard to climb.
