The Noah's Ark Appeal

The Noah's Ark Appeal was set up to build, equip and further support the first dedicated children's hospital for Wales. After having raised over £12m to support phase one of the hospital, we are now looking ahead to the day phase two is open and are now aiming to raise a minimum of £4m. This will buy vital state-of-the-art equipment in the new critical care unit for children needing intensive and high dependency care. It will also purchase a special 'open' MRI scanner that allows parents to lie by the side of their child; this machine has lights, colour and music to distract the child. On September 20th Sian and Bethan will be running the Great North Run to raise money for the Noah's Ark Appeal and Y Bwthyn cancer care unit in Bridgend. Because we are taking part this year to celebrate Sian's 30th Birthday we will be dressed as ladybirds to add to the adventure!!

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. Monies donated through this page will be sent directly to the Noah's Ark Appeal but we will also be collecting money offline and donating to another worthy cause, Y Bwthyn cancer care unit in Bridgend.
