Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Monday 31 August, I will be putting myself through my first ever triathlon .. gulp!! A sprint one , not the mad ironman stuff, but still tough I reckon. 400m swim in Hampton outdoor pool, 21km bike ride around Hampton and 5km run in Bushy Park.
As some of you already know, my lovely friend Gail Tytherleigh (you’d be hard pushed to find a lovelier friend) has scleroderma. Thanks to the work that The Scleroderma Society do in funding research and providing invaluable support and Gail's unbelievable and inspirational determination she's fighting this all the way. So to support her and the Society that works towards providing a better life for her and fellow scleroderma sufferers, we’d be so grateful for any donations, large or small, whatever you can give.
In the meantime, I’ll get training!! And any advice out there for a novice would be very welcome!!
Thanks!
