Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On 13th October 2011 I'm taking part in the biggest challenge of my life so far-Mount Kilimanjaro! Dominating the landscape like no other mountain - Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world at 5,895 metres.Completing Kilimanjaro, as well as being a great achievement, is also for a very worthwhile cause - Scope.
Scope's vision is to have a world where disabled people have the same opportunities to fulfil their life ambitions as non-disabled people. Scope is a charity that supports disabled people and their families through practical information and support, particularly at the time of diagnosis and in a child's early years. Every disabled person has the right to live their life and work towards their goals without being limited by other people’s expectations or prejudices. Scope never sets limits on any disabled person’s individual potential.
