Capita Step Up Challenge · 16 January 2017

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

With the New Year Beginning 'Siany's Angel's' are taking on a big challenge, looking at starting fresh and blowing away the cobwebs feeling determined to focus on 'Step Up 2017'.

The core of the challenge is a virtual walk from Capita Offices, from London to Cardiff to Belfast to Stirling. This route is approximately 630 miles which is around 1,260,000 steps - Which is achieved with roughly 10,000 steps a day for each team member - Running from the 16th of January to the 10th of February.

To understand the significance of this challenge the average person will walk 3000-4000 steps a day - So this really will require focus from all involved.

We are a team of Ladies, with busy life's, balancing work with families which makes this task a real challenge for us all.

The Prince's Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed, helping 13 to 30 years old transform their lives - With currently 7 children between us this is a worthy cause we feel passionate about raising money for.
