Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. I am a volunteer at Amnesty International in Galway and will be taking part in the VHI Mini Marathon, running for Amnesty International Ireland (and Walk in my Shoes). Having never walked 10K event like this I was initially a bit nervous, but since my nan died last year, I have wanted to challenge myself and raise some money in her memory. I have been volunteering for Amnesty for more than two years on a number of human rights issues such as stop torture, anti-death penalty, migrant rights and LGBTI rights and was inspired to join Team Amnesty in their quest after watching the dedicated participants of Gaelforce West (including our Director Colm O'Gorman!). Please support Team Amnesty and sponsor me here
