BUPA Great South Run 2007 · 28 October 2007 ·

No child in the UK should grow up to be poor or lonely just because they are blind. 90% of those who lose their sight in youth won’t work for more than six months in their lives. Most will never have someone to share their life with. RSBC believe in a better life for blind children.

Story

Hello,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I am this year runing the Great South Run! For those of you who dont know, it is the world's second biggest 10 mile event and takes place around the streets of Portsmouth!

I will be running for the Royal Blind Society, there are so many good causes to run for, but I decided to run for a charity who doesnt get much exposure. The Royal Blind Society provides financial support and grants to the blind,  and also offers help and support in leisure activities.

For more information on the Royal Blind Society please visit the website below,

http://www.royalblindsociety.org/

Donating through this site is simple, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponser me, the Royal Blind Society will receive your money faster and if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support!
