I was injured in Afghanistan just over two years ago. I lost both my legs, carelessly, after an IED exploded near me. Recovery has been a long process, but I have not let any thing stop me. I was walking on prosthetic legs less than two months after I was injured. I have been skiing and taken part in loads of sport like swimming, recumbent cycling and using a racing wheel chair. Help for Heroes have been awesome, not just by the money they have given me but by the support which I have recieved from them.
