The Duchenne Dash · 6 June 2014 to 7 June 2014 ·
STOP PRESS: Well, I made it to Paris in 24hrs despite puncturing a few miles from the end and having to ride my butt off to catch up. Thanks to all who have donated and for those who haven't, it's not too late!

The Duchenne Dash is a gruelling 24 hour bike ride from London to Paris in which media rivals and friends take on this daunting challenge in aid of a great cause. We’re riding to help fund a treatment for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - a wasting disease that leads to paralysis and death in all cases. Newsreaders and executives from Channel 4, ITN, ITV and Sky News have all set aside their rivalries. Google will ride with Twitter, comedians will ride with TV bosses and spin doctors with journalists. We need your support. Follow our journey, enjoy our pain, but please donate and help us make it worthwhile.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
