Story

25th March I ran Cranleigh 21 mile and felt very pleased with myself! Have done a 12 mile since, 1 week before big day and have a little fever so am keeping rested. I'm so grateful for all the support you've all given me. For those that haven't sponsored me yet £2. Is the minimum donation and I'll appreciate all you can give and look especially forward to your messages :0)

I ran Cranleigh 15-21 mile road run on 25th March. Past results of mine resulted in me being too slow to run the full 21miles as the marshalls wanted to go home for their Sunday roast. The rule is to do 15 mile in under 2hr45min and you get to have a crack at the 21. Well this year running with Cranleigh Runners has definitely paid off because YES I did the 21 miles, and my goodness I was so very pleased with myself. My profile pic is of me just before the race, I can tell you the butterflies were really flapping in my tummy then. I think the last time I was that scared is when an Exmoor pony nearly crushed me to death!

Anyway my time 3hrs 45 minutes was a personal best for me for this distance. My only injury was a blister underneath my toenail which hurt. I booked in with my GP (The Fantastic DR Clark) and he anesthetized and removed the now dead toenail from my 'little piggy that stayed at home'. My trotter feeling a lot better already!

I'm out for a run on Easter Sunday, probably my last big run.

Please wish me luck and sponsor me whatever you can spare :oD

Updated on Mar 4th 2012 at 4:12 PM from the JustGiving API

Ran 12 miles today.
