For the third year running on 16 June, I will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge along with about one hundred of my colleagues from Michael Page, supporting our charity partner Macmillan Cancer Support. 

 

This is an amazing event  and will be Michael Page’s fourth annual trip to Yorkshire, enduring the 25 mile hike across the three tallest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales within 12 hours. Last year I completed it in 8 hours 26 minutes and raised one thousand five hundred pounds. This year I aim to be faster and hope to raise at least as much money over the next few weeks.

 

In total last year the Michael Page team raised over £43k for Macmillan Cancer Support with 89 members of staff taking part. With the larger group and the generosity of our family, friends, colleagues and clients we should beat that this year.

 

The money raised from this event will go towards our two year goal of funding four Macmillan Cancer Nurse Specialists, supporting and treating hundreds more cancer patients and their families across the UK.
