Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be running the London Marathon in April 2012 for St John's Ambulance and would be grateful for your help and support in raising money for such a good cause.

As a Special Constable I can appreciate the hard work and dedication that volunteers of the St John's Ambulance contribute to their local communities. I have had the pleasure to work along side many St John's Ambulance staff and with your financial encouragement I want to help ensure their good work can continue and hope that the money I raise will do so.

St John Ambulance teaches people first aid - about 800,000 last year alone – so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved. They train thousands of people who go on to offer their skills and time to be the difference right in the heart of their community, as St John Ambulance volunteers – to provide first aid at public events, to be community first responders who attend emergency calls and provide care until the ambulance arrives, to provide patient transport, or as back up to local ambulance services during local major emergencies.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many Thanks.
