I visited St Peter's hospital last year. The hospital is on an island on the Lake of Malawi. It takes 2 hours to get there by speed boat ( and the usual ferry which supplies the island takes 8-10 hours on a good day. At the moment it is broken down). As it is so remote it tends to get forgotten. Without the help of African Steps there would be very little hope for the 10,000 people for whom it provides healthcare.
