Story
The East Cheshire Hospice is a local charity offering specialist care for people with life-limiting illneses for which there is no cure. By raising money for the hospice it can go towards funding the day to day care offered to patients, which can cost around £6000 a day.
I have already raised money for this charity by completing the Midnight walk in 2011 and the Macclesfield Bikathon in 2010. I believe fundraising is an essential way to contribute support to people during difficult times.
On a personal level, running 10km is a challenge. I have already begun training and hope to complete the course in under 60 minutes.
