My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year I will be running in (trying to get round!) the Brighton 2012 Marathon, for a wonderful local charity called Amaze. I chose Amaze as they are a great Brighton & Hove charity and are used by the family of an equally amazing little girl that I know...
Thalia has Kabuki Syndrome, which means that she and her family have to cope with lots of challenges surrounding her condition, and many of the little things that lots of us take for granted can become very difficult to manage. Luckily, Thalia has an incredible family who deal with everything that comes their way, they have invaluable support from Amaze, and Thalia herself lives her life with a smile and a laugh and a truly amazing, humbling determination.

I completed the Brighton Marathon in a time of 4:28. Thank you SO MUCH everyone for your donations - together so far we have raised £460 + £100 gift aid, plus I have an employers contribution to add to that. FANTASTIC! Thanks again from Simon, Thalia & The Staiano's, and Amaze.

Amaze is a charity that supports parents of children with special needs and disabilities in Brighton and Hove. It offers a helpline, volunteers who work individually with parents on education issues and benefits claims, publications, workshops and much more. 'I think that the service that Amaze offers is outstanding and I would have been lost without it.'
