Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to walk the Offa's Dyke Trail and to raise funds for the Tall Ships Youth Trust. If you've never been on a small ocean going vessel, then you have missed an experience in life! It requires courage! And it requires communication and team-work. And then, a whole belly full more of courage. These kids will be put in an enviornment where they are totally out of their comfort zone and have to leave their old modes of behaviour behind. This is going to demand a new 'me' from all of them. And the lessons they learn will help them to understand that if they try, if they persevere and if they have the courage not to give up, amazing things are possible. That's a lesson all kids could do with learning. If even one or two lives are changed for the better by the money raised here, I will be a very happy man.

If you'd rather just keep an eye on how I'm getting along, you can visit my blog. Its free and I'll be updating it every day as I go. You can find it here.

http://simon-offasdyke.blogspot.co.uk/

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
