<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Simon Robinson and Daniel Charge have signed up to take part in the Edinburgh Marathon and Half Marathon respectively.&nbsp; They are both training hard for the event in May.&nbsp; </span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Simon and Daniel are running in aid of The </span><span style="color: #33cccc;">Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys</span>, <span style="color: #0000ff;">based in Eccup near Leeds. EST Leeds has been providing donkey riding therapy sessions to children in Leeds and the surrounding area since 1999.&nbsp; Around 170 children with special needs and disabilities visit the Centre each week for therapeutic riding sessions.&nbsp; The charity also provides outreach visits to residents of nursing homes, hospices and care homes.&nbsp; EST provides donkey therapy services free of charge and is entirely dependent on fundraising and donations to continue its work.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">EST Centres are based in Belfast (opens 2011), Birmingham, Ivybridge, Leeds, Manchester and Sidmouth.&nbsp; <a href="http://www.elisabethsvendsentrust.org.uk">www.elisabethsvendsentrust.org.uk</a> </span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Simon is an experienced marathon runner and is looking forward to completing what will be his 83rd marathon.&nbsp; He became involved with the charity through his wife Angie, who regularly volunteers at EST Leeds.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Daniel is new to running but is tackling the challenges of training to complete what will be his first half marathon.&nbsp; Daniel learned about the marathon bid through his younger sister who attends EST Leeds on a weekly basis for riding therapy sessions.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;">We are delighted that Simon and Daniel are running for EST Leeds so please&nbsp;make a donation&nbsp;and support this amazing charity &nbsp;which helps so many special children.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #0000ff;"> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
