The Rocky Appeal is raising £2.4 million to ensure the future of innovative robotic keyhole surgery at QA Hospital. The Da Vinci robot is an incredibly precise way of carrying out keyhole surgery to better treat vulnerable areas of the body, reduce recovery times and cause minimum damage.

Story

This fund is specifically to raise money for Portsmouth Hospital Rocky Appeal for 6 space-age keyhole operating theatres - the first two built have already transformed surgery for our cancer patients making it safer and quicker for them to recover. This will allow you to sponsor me for various events - the next one will be the relay swim from the Isle of Wight to Portsmouth on the 24th July.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
