STOP PRESS - Simon finished in 2 hours and 31 minutes, 10,009 out of 15,000  - Sue had to pull out on medical grounds and wasn't able to run....

We're running the Bath Half Marathon to raise funds for the Southmead Hospital Renal Unit. One of Sue's oldest and closest friends, and latterly one of mine, has been receiving treatment there, and we would both like to contribute something - with your help - to support the work done in this unit. 

Those of you that sponsor us and know John will understand why we both want to do this. He has been kind, loyal and generous, and always there when needed. Now it's time for us to try and repay him for his friendship and support in some small way.

Hopefully some of you will come along on the day to cheer us on - 13 miles is a long way for a pair of old farts pretending to be teenagers.
