Yes I finally got a place in the London Marathon! Why am I doing it you might ask? Well apart from madness and still thinking I'm a fit 21 year old, it's been on the bucket list for years. But also and more importantly, its my opportunity to raise money for Helen and Douglas House, a childrens hospice very dear to my heart here in Oxfordshire. Having supported HDH and visited on a number of occasions over the last few years, one can't help but be in awe of the great work they do for children and young adults whose precious lives are being taken away from us far too early. By supporting me, you will be helping to continue the wonderful care provided by the staff, nurses and carers at this magical place.
