Story

On 4 September 2011 I will be embarking on a 1,004 mile cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats. At my age I realIy should know better - perhaps it's some sort of mid-life crisis. I've put in a few training miles (getting sick of the sight of Richmond Park) and I'm reasonably confident about completing the ride and joining the exclusive group of 'end-to-enders'.

I know times are tough for many of you but I would welcome some support. I'm doing the ride to raise funds for the The Big Splash Trust. TBST is a charity which provides support for kids with profound learning difficulties at the Jack Tizard School and in the wider community. They do an amazing job and they are in need of funds if they are to continue to be able to provide the necessary equipment and support.

If you are able to make a donation, however large or small, it would be greatly appreciated and perhaps help sustain me through the numerous pain barriers I'm about to face.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
