You might remember that in 2011 I foolishly cycled 450 miles from London to Newcastle in aid of Cancer Research UK. You may also remember how much pain I was in afterwards.

With that in mind, I've stupidly volunteered to ride close to 600 miles from Newcastle to Paris in June 2012 in less than 1 week.

Everyone has been touched by cancer in some way, whether family or friends. The work CRUK do will one day mean that loved ones dying from cancer is a thing of the past.

Please dig deep and donate to a fantastic cause - after all, I'm going to be spending in the region of 50 hours sat on a particularly uncomfortable saddle and if I'm really lucky I'll crash!
