In a moment of madness, I have undertaken to climb (well, walk the tourist path) to the top of Ben Nevis  on 20th September 2009 with 2 friends: John Gore and Con Ealey.

I am doing this as part of the fundraising that I started when I was President of my local Rotary club last year and am funding this trip entirely on my own so I can guarantee that all monies raised will go straight to the charity.

Please be as generous as you can for this worth cause. Surrey Air Ambulance (Registered Charity Number 1021367), like other Air Ambulances are not centrally funded and do not receive lottery donations. Their entire £750,000 annual running costs have to be raised through charitable giving.

Even if you are only passing through Surrey you could benefit from their services in an emergency and I chose this charity for that reason.
