<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page! <strong>I am completing a charity 10k run and giving you the chance to shave my head in return for donations! </strong>Read on...</p>
<p>I am raising money for Pass It On Africa - an amazing charity that helps build schools and homes for people that really need them in Africa. They are a relatively small charity doing an absolutely fantastic job and they really need your donations to keep going with their work.</p>
<p>I have already run the 10k Hero Run a couple of times, and I'm about to run it again on 20th May in Brighton (attempting to beat my PB of 49 minutes). Essentially around 1000 fundraisers all dress up as their favourite super heroes and run 10k. Now, I know 10k isn't a huge achievement in these days of mega-challenges being completed by celebs for various huge charities, but for Pass It On Africa it's a really big deal. And I will have no backup crew, motivational guru, or even bag carrier to assist me.</p>
<p>And just to sweeten the incentive for donations, I have decided to put something else on the line that means a lot to me... my HAIR. Yes, that's right, <strong>if I successfully pass my fundraising target of £500 prior to the run on 20th May 2012, one lucky contributor will be chosen from the hat and will be able to shave my head </strong>(although I am specifying <strong>grade 3</strong> is the shortest we can go!). Anyone who knows me will be aware that my (rapidly greying) quiff is a major feature of my life, and having it removed will cause me great concern. Hopefully, unlike Samson, I will retain my demi-godlike powers even without my precious locks!</p>
